Welcome and thank you so much for joining our KeyNotes Music group piano program. We are so excited to be able to teach you all there is to know about setting up and delivering group piano and we can't wait for you to get started!

It is important we share an understanding about how we will work together.

We will work together with a commitment of the below:

Training Videos

We have recorded and posted training videos to cover all you need to know about the business and pedagogy of group piano.

Resources

You have access to all of our resources, including teaching materials, marketing materials, admin and lesson resources.

Further support

You are able to comment on any posting and you are also able to bring up any concerns/queries with us in our dedicated Facebook group where either Melanie or one of your colleagues will be able to help you.

PAYMENT

Payment for this license is made on booking, then on the same date of every month thereafter.

CONFIDENTIALITY

You recognize that in the course of our work together you may divulge goals, future plans, business affairs, personal and private information. I will not at any time, either directly or indirectly, voluntarily use any such information for my own benefit or disclose it to a third party.

Intellectual Property

All Intellectual Property Rights in the Program Materials, Video Courses and Curriculum and Marketing Materials are, and remain, the intellectual property of KeyNotes Music.

You are not authorised to:-

(i) copy, modify, reproduce, re-publish, sub-licence, sell, upload, broadcast, post, transmit or distribute any of the Materials;

(ii) record on video or audio tape, relay by videophone or other means any video training;

(iii) use the Program Materials in the provision of any other course or training;

(iv) remove any copyright or other notice of KeyNotes Music on the Program Materials;

(v) modify, adapt, merge, translate, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer (save to the extent permitted by law) any software forming part of the Online Membership.

Breach by you of this clause shall allow us to immediately terminate these terms and conditions with you and cease to provide you with any Services, including but not limited to access to the Online Membership.

In consideration of the Fees paid by you, we grant to you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Program Materials and the software in respect of the Licence for the sole purpose of delivering your KeyNotes Music classes.

Termination of your monthly payment means that you are forbidden to use any KeyNotes Music Materials, or the name, in any of your lessons after your last month of payment has come to an end. 

I have read and agree to the points above and will honour them during the course of my membership and beyond.

I never understood how group lessons could work, because students learn at different paces. KeyNotes solves this in two ways; every single song has multiple extension challenges (difficulty levels) and its cyclical, which means there are a bunch of workbooks at each level. This means a student who needs more time and practice to master the more challenging versions of the songs will get the opportunity to do so in another book that covers the same learning objectives. A student who is confidently mastering it all, can move up to the next level workbooks. This means there's s always something that's a "good fit" for every one in the class.
