Welcome to KeyNotes Music at Home
In these difficult times of uncertainty, no school, and very little social interaction, wouldn't it be wonderful for your child to learn to play the piano/be supported in their continued learning?
Our lessons focus on a step-by-step approach, with clear objectives, through a creative and fun curriculum.
For KeyNotes Music at Home, what is going to be essential is that you, the parent, have clear guidelines on how to support your child with their piano learning, even if you have never played the piano before, so there will be plenty of support!
I am hearing from so many parents saying they have a piano at home that longs to be played, or a keyboard that was a Christmas present and has not yet been used. Or even that their child has lessons at school, but will be unable to continue whilst schools are closed.
Well here is the perfect opportunity!
What you will get
Piano Lesson Sheets
You will get downloadable lesson pdfs to print at home (x8), which will have differentiated pieces and tasks for each level of learner.
A set of games to download and play with your children, supporting the lessons and enriching their learning in a super fun way!
Each lesson will have a video to accompany it where you and your child will be guided through the content of the lesson.
Within the KeyNotes at Home Facebook group, you will be able to ask questions and get feedback on your child's playing!
Our KeyNotes at Home series of lessons are designed to take beginners, and those in the early stages of piano learning, through steps and building blocks of learning, starting with letter names, where the notes are, basic rhythms and finger numbers. We have a pre-reader version fro complete beginners, and a reader version for those that have some experience with reading music. All of the pieces have different difficulty levels in order to support and challenge all students. The reader version also has some theory tasks worked into the lessons.
